ā¢ 5+ years of total engineering experience, including 3+ years in test automation, primarily focused on backend testing
ā¢ Proficiency in Python and Pytest for writing automated test scripts
ā¢ Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes principles, CI/CD knowledge, and the ability to analyse backend service logs
ā¢ Proficiency in Linux and related tools, with solid Bash scripting knowledge
ā¢ Basic SQL proficiency
ā¢ Experience with Kafka and Kibana, or the ability to learn them quickly
ā¢ Experience testing RESTful and gRPC APIs
ā¢ Good understanding of client-server and/or microservice architecture
ā¢ Familiarity with Machine Learning fundamentals
ā¢ Active use of AI assistants
š Responsibilities:
ā¢ Participate actively in all stages of the product lifecycle, from initial concept to deployment
ā¢ Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and application documentation
ā¢ Identify, document, and track defects using a bug tracking system
ā¢ Test backend services and analyse results
ā¢ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements
ā¢ Write automated API tests
ā¢ Collaborate with TechOps and other teams to implement quality management processes and improve testing practices
