• Create and update test cases Create and update test cases for Java applications
• Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using JAVA and Selenium scripting to enhance testing efficiency and coverage. Experience in Python and different Automation Test tools and technologies is desirable.
• Experience in designing and developing test plans, test cases and generating test reports, defect reports and documentation.
• Experience in Functional Manual Testing. Automate manual test cases, ensuring thorough validation of software functionality and performance.
• Writing, reviewing, and executing manual and automated tests, including functional, regression, and performance testing
• Responsible for meeting the Test metrics and Test coverage. Identifying critical system functionalities and designing test cases to cover untested areas of the code. Identifying test prioritization to optimize test coverage.
• Contribute to building CI/CD pipelines for automated testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and translate them into test cases and automated tests.
• Analyze test results, document findings, and provide actionable insights to improve product quality.
• Candidate must be a self-starter with a positive attitude and high ethics. Work collaboratively with very strong teaming skills.
• Ensure compliance with QA best practices, performance standards, and security guidelines.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in testing methodologies and tools.
• Experience building automation framework.
• Mentors junior team members on technical aspects. The selected individual will also be responsible to provide support to development of internal competency and resources for critical skill sets

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Software Quality Assurance processes and QA methodologies.
• Familiar with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Skilled in test automation using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, and Cucumber; experience with ISITRIGHT is a plus.
• Proficient in working with SQL, MySQL and NOSQL databases and their declarative query language.
• Experienced with version control tools like Git and TFS.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps.
• Proficient in Agile Methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)
• Basic exposure to containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes (nice to have).
• Experience testing RESTful APIs and web applications using tools like Postman and SOAPUI.
• Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Must be able to work collaboratively with multi-functional teams within Boeing and external partners.
• Develop and maintain relationships / partnerships with customers, collaborators, peers, and partners to develop collaborative plans and complete projects.
• Proactively seek information and direction to successfully complete the statement of work.
• Must be flexible, with a high tolerance for organizational complexity and ability to work with team members across different cultures and time-zones
• Demonstrate strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Be fluent in written and spoken English, and have high degree of proficiency with MS Office tools to prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, proposals, and Statements of Work.
• Must have experience leading teams and have the ability to mentor and teach juniors and partners to accomplish project and departmental goals and objectives.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience ) :

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred.
• Experience with test management tools and continuousIntegration/continuousdeployment (CI/CD) practices.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages or testing tools is a plus.
• Relevant certifications in software testing or quality assurance.

• Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9+ years' related work experience or Master’s Degree with 8+ years of experience with an equivalent combination of education and experience
