What youâll be doing
- Contribute to and improve test strategies that align with product goals and timelines.
- Support automation efforts using tools like Playwright and enhancing the efficiency of testing processes.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to establish acceptance criteria and clarify requirements.
- Provide constructive feedback to improve test coverage and code quality.
- Help implement and optimise a Shift-Left testing approach
- Advocate for quality at all levels of the product development lifecycle, from design to deployment.
- Ensure clear documentation of test plans, processes, and results.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging QA technologies to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate early in the development cycle to clarify requirements, design testable stories, and identify risks.
- Coach developers and team members on quality best practices, test design, and the use of automation frameworks.
- Promote a quality-first mindset by leading discussions on testing strategies during planning and grooming sessions.
You will thrive in this role if
- Strong hands-on experience with automation tools, especially Playwright.
- You enjoy helping the team grow when thinking about quality & feel comfortable sharing (QA) knowledge across teams.
- You are passionate about preventing issues before they become bugs and can collaborate early in the SDLC to make that happen.
- Solid understanding of testing methodologies, including functional, regression and have had exposure to backend and frontend projects.
- Familiarity with market research tools and platforms is a plus.
- Experience with agile methodologies and working within an agile team.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Jenkins, Git).
- You thrive in collaborative environments and confidently engage with a range of stakeholders to drive the best outcomes.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- You work with persistence, curiosity and compromise.
