Develop a comprehensive QA strategy across multiple domains and teams

Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks for web, API, and hardware/software-in-the-loop setups

Plan and execute test coverage ensuring high standards of quality for all releases
-
Drive process optimization initiatives and improve existing QA guidelines tailored for diverse teams and projects
-
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with DevOps teams to integrate automated testing
-
Conduct API testing (REST, GraphQL, gRPC) and performance testing using modern tools
-
Follow up on bug tracking and test management efforts using tools such as TestRail, X-Ray, Zephyr, or similar
-
Advocate for best practices in software testing, test automation, performance testing, and QA methodologies across the organization
-
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders in an agile environment
-
5+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance Engineering
-
Deep knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
-
Proven experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Robot Framework, Playwright, or WebdriverIO
-
Strong programming/scripting skills in Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, or Java
-
Experience in building and maintaining automation test frameworks from scratch
-
Expertise in API testing (Postman, Rest-Assured etc.)

Strong understanding of DevOps principles, SDLC, CI/CD pipelines (especially with GitLab CI/CD) and Docker
-
Solid knowledge and experience working with Linux environments
-
Comfortable with defect tracking systems and test management tools (e.g., TestRail, X-Ray, Zephyr)
-
Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and a passion for delivering high-quality software
-
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
-
Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English
-
Experience in industry automation, robotics, vision, and control systems domains

Expertise with Robot Framework for automation

Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker
-
Experience with Hardware/Software-in-the-Loop test setups from concept to implementation
-
Knowledge of networking technologies is a plus
-
Familiarity with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence
-
Proficiency in German or Chinese (written and verbal) is a plus
-
Work on-site at our headquarters in Munich to develop and maintain our web-based robot programming platform, and travel to project sites to provide short term second level support to project teams

Collaborate with our product team to enhance and expand our software

Understand and react to customer needs and help our product management predict needs the projects you are supporting are facing

Integrate new hardware into our software, contributing to the ongoing evolution of our technology

Participate in large-scale projects and see the direct impact of your contributions

Help to ensure only quality software arrives at the projects you are supporting, by efficiently verifying requirements
