Lead QA Automation Engineer
You’ll spend 70% of your time on test automation and 30% on leadership and people management.

What You’ll Do
Technical tasks
- Develop and maintain UI automated tests (C#)
- Ensure test reliability and coverage
- Analyze failures and improve quality
- Collaborate with Business analysts, Software Developers to align QA strategy
- Own QA quality metrics and continuously improve test coverage, stability, and effectiveness.
- Own the QA tasks backlog — prioritize refactoring and process improvements for QA team efficiency
Leadership /People management
- Lead and mentor 4 Senior QA engineers, including code review.
- Plan and estimate testing work, including quarterly planning, daily stand-ups, and allocating team members to features. Track tasks, communicate risks, and align priorities
- Facilitate team retrospectives and process improvements to foster a culture of continuous learning.
- Manage team performance: conduct annual reviews and drive career growth plans for QA team members.
- Implement company-wide policies within the team, drive best practices and strong team collaboration.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with:
- 5+ years in automation, with solid UI testing skills
- Experience managing a QA team including task management and management of direct reports 2+ years
- Proficient in automation frameworks (C# or Java)
- Skilled in planning, estimation, and priority management
- Advanced English (some team members are English-speaking only)
Bonus:
